How My Piplup Sticker Became a Limited-Run LED Sign

From concept to creation

The idea began with a Piplup design I made for fellow collectors. I loved the thought of turning it into something you could display in your gaming room, on a collector shelf, or in a cozy little corner of your space.

It’s more than a neon outline: the Piplup design is printed across the background, so you can see the full colors and details even when the sign is turned off. When it’s lit, the glow brings the whole design to life.

Bringing it to life with Loopacy was such a fun experience. They were super responsive, flexible, and easy to work with, and I loved being involved throughout the whole process as we turned the idea into a finished sign. Seeing the familiar wink, rosy cheeks, and bright blue details light up for the first time was honestly so exciting, especially knowing it was made for fellow Piplup fans to enjoy.

Choose a size for your space

The sign is available in Standard, Large, and Extra Large, so you can choose the size that works best for your setup.

I went with the Standard size because my packing desk is fairly small and the sign hangs directly on the wall beside where I work. Since it’s much closer to the camera than a sign placed farther back in a gaming room or filming background, the Standard size gives me the impact I wanted without overwhelming the space.

If you’re placing yours farther away, using it as a backdrop, or want it to be a bigger statement piece in the room, one of the larger sizes may suit your setup better.
